A film that makes visible a practice you cannot see: magnetic healing, filmed with gentleness, light and restraint.
Mariella Mboty is a magnetic healer. To grow her practice and reach a wider audience, she needed a film able to present her practice, her world and her personality, both on her website and on social media.
Filming an intangible practice without falling into esoteric clichés or amateur imagery. It had to inspire trust from the first seconds, set a calming atmosphere and stay credible with a sometimes sceptical audience.
I wrote, shot and edited a presentation film centred on Mariella: her gestures, her voice, her gaze. Natural light, unhurried pacing, careful framing: every choice serves a sense of calm and seriousness. The film was then cut into short extracts for her social media, carrying the same premium image.
